Primary One Information
I am absolutely delighted to inform that our Primary 1 learners have settled extremely well and they are integrating nicely into life here at St. Denis’ Primary. Thank you to all Primary 1 Parents who have played a huge part in ensuring that the children have settled into our school routine. The children are beautifully presented in their St. Denis’ school uniform; I offer sincere thanks for this. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Traynor (DHT), Mrs Johnston & Mrs Barry (PTs), Mrs Black (P2/1), Ms McCann (P1), Mrs Orr & Mrs McLean (Support for Learning Workers), for their hard work ensuring a successful start for our Primary 1 learners.
Inclement Weather
Unfortunately, the weather is changing and the Season of Autumn is upon us.
On that note, please ensure that your child brings a jacket to school each day. Please ensure that all items of clothing have your child’s name attached. Thank you.
Parking around the school – Keep our children safe!
For the health & safety of our children, parents and staff, please park considerately. Also, please ensure that you do not park on the double yellow lines or the yellow zig-zag lines. I appreciate your co-operation in this matter. #Safe
Attendance
A reminder that if your child is absent from school, you should call the Absence Line on 0141 287 0039.

Mrs Gordon is currently working with the children to design their personalised posters and prepare their manifestos which will be shared with the rest of school. The children will then vote for their House Captain & Vice-Captain. Our school’s houses are linked to Scottish Saints: St. Margaret’s House (red), St. Enoch’s House (yellow), St. Andrew’s House (blue) and St. Mungo’s House (green).
Primary 7 parents / carers and family members are invited to attend a Family Learning Assembly on Wednesday 6th of September. Here, our Primary 7 leaders will share their learning and present their manifestos. Tea & coffee will be served.
